Billing
Manage your workspace subscription, payment method, and invoices from Settings.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Open Settings → Billing. Requires Manage Billing permission.
New workspaces start with a trial period. When the trial ends, choose a plan or access may be limited until you subscribe.
Subscribe or change plan
Section titled “Subscribe or change plan”Open Settings → Billing, then choose the action you need:
- Subscribe: choose a plan and complete checkout through Stripe.
- Upgrade: click Upgrade Plan, choose a higher plan, and confirm the change in Stripe. Stripe shows any prorated charge before you confirm.
- Downgrade: scroll below the billing details and subscription history, then expand Plan options. Review a lower plan, choose which members keep a seat, and click Schedule downgrade. The change takes effect at your next renewal.
Plans differ by how many team members (seats) you can invite. See Members and invites and Invite your team.
A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Everyone keeps access until that date. Keep at least one owner in your selection. Members without a seat become inactive; their tasks, assignments, and completion history remain intact. An administrator can reassign their tasks or reactivate them when a seat is available.
Before scheduling a downgrade, open Team and cancel any pending invitations.
Once the downgrade is scheduled, return to Billing and find Scheduled plan change:
- Edit members changes who will keep access when the lower plan starts.
- Cancel downgrade removes the scheduled change so you stay on your current plan.
You can use either option before your next renewal. Everyone keeps their current access until then.
While a downgrade is scheduled, you cannot invite or reactivate members, upgrade your plan, or open Stripe’s billing portal through Manage Subscription or Update Payment Method. To do any of these before renewal, click Cancel downgrade first. You can schedule a new downgrade afterwards if needed.
Payment method and invoices
Section titled “Payment method and invoices”Click Manage Subscription to open Stripe’s portal for billing details, invoices, and cancellation. Update Payment Method opens the same portal to manage your card. Receipts go to the email on your Stripe customer record.
To upgrade or downgrade, use Upgrade Plan or Plan options in OhYeh’s Billing tab. Plan changes start here rather than in the general Stripe portal.
Cancel
Section titled “Cancel”To cancel your plan go to Billing → Manage Subscription. From this screen you can then select your Active plan and click Cancel plan. Follow the prompts to complete.
Request workspace data before cancelling
Section titled “Request workspace data before cancelling”OhYeh does not currently have a self-service export. Before access ends, a workspace owner can request a manual export of available workspace content:
- Email hello@ohyeh.io from the email address on your OhYeh account.
- Include the workspace name, the data you need, and any deadline.
- We will verify that you are authorized to act for the workspace, then confirm the available scope, format, secure delivery method, and timing.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create an export or deletion request. Send those requests separately and as early as possible.
Who can manage billing
Section titled “Who can manage billing”Usually the workspace owner. If payment fails, the owner should update payment details.
