Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how OhYeh uses cookies and similar technologies on ohyeh.io and in the OhYeh application. Cookies are small files or browser storage entries used to remember information about your visit, account, device, or preferences.
Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are needed for the service to work. They support sign-in, security, session management, organization selection, invite acceptance, billing flows, and basic product functionality. You can block these in your browser, but parts of OhYeh may stop working.
Preference cookies
These remember choices such as the current organization, theme, filters, dismissed tips, and similar settings that make the product behave consistently for your account or browser.
Analytics cookies
Analytics is off by default. Only after you choose “Allow analytics” do we use PostHog to understand product usage, page views, feature adoption, and reliability. We may also store first-touch and last-touch campaign attribution in first-party local storage for up to 90 days, such as UTM fields, ad click identifiers, sanitized referrer, landing path, and timestamp. Page events use route templates and omit query strings and fragments; sensitive invitation routes are not measured. Authenticated-app autocapture, session replay, and form-text capture are disabled. PostHog is also configured to respect browser Do Not Track signals and to limit person profiles to identified users.
Third-party cookies
Some services may set cookies or similar technologies when you interact with them, including Google sign-in and Stripe checkout or billing portal pages. Those services control their own cookies.
Examples
| Technology | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication/session cookies | Keep you signed in and protect account access. | Essential |
ohyeh_current_org | Remember which organization is currently selected. | Preference / essential app function |
| Theme, filter, and tip storage | Remember interface preferences and product view state in this browser. | Preference |
ohyeh_analytics_consent | Remember whether this browser allowed or declined optional analytics. | Essential consent preference (up to 1 year) |
| PostHog cookies or local storage | Measure sanitized usage, attribution, rendered experiments, and product funnels after opt-in. | Analytics (up to 90 days for browser persistence) |
| Google and Stripe cookies | Support sign-in, checkout, subscription management, and fraud prevention. | Third-party / essential for selected flows |
Managing cookies
Use Settings → Privacy & analytics in the signed-in application to allow or withdraw optional analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future capture and clears OhYeh analytics attribution/context and PostHog browser persistence. Your consent-choice cookie remains so we can remember the decision. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent OhYeh from working correctly.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, our analytics setup is configured to respect it where PostHog is enabled.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as the service or our use of cookies changes.
